Linksys Wireless-N Adapter Problem
Hey guys,
New to this, just started posting and trying to fix comps.
Okay, basically i clean installed winxp Pro on my desktop because i had registry errors that were stopping it from booting ( also i didnt mind losing anything on this comp, it was running slow and needed to be cleaned) Anyways.
after installing windows i realized the Wireless Connection didnt show. I looked it up and learned i needed the drivers ( again very very new to this). My Wireless adapter is a....
Linksys Wireless-N PCI Adapter WMP300N
i got the driver off the website and updated it through device managers and got Error Code 39: The Driver may be corrupt or missing. I already tried to uninstall of the drivers and software ( including taking out and puting the Chip back into the MoBo) I keep getting the same message.
Some other info - in Device Managers i am also getting a yellow ! mark for PCI Device in the Other Devices section. Im guessing this is the Wireless Adapter card aswell consindering i have nothing else in a PCI Slot.
