LED LCD Monitor

So, I just bought this but haven't opened it yet:

But now I am thinking I might want an LED instead:

Do you guys think it would be worth the extra money to do this if it is just for gaming? I don't really care about watching movies that much. Newegg said they won't charge me restocking or I'd never do it. And if it is the consensus that it would be worth it, is this the best 24" I can get for $250 or less?

Yes LED looks much better and uses less power. That is a very good monitor, a similar one is: Newegg.com - LG E2441V-BN Black 24" 5ms Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 1000:1 which looks better in my opinion, has near similar specs (I don't think anyone notices a difference between 2ms and 5ms response time) and has free shipping so it's cheaper.
