Keep computer off internet but still connected to the network?

I have a pc that I would like to have no internet access but still be connected to my home network so that I can access its shared media. Is there a way to do this? If there is, is there also an easy way to change the setting so that I can access the internet and then turn it back off?

the answer is to have a firewall block all traffic except to the local lan.


you can install the firewall below. you will need to change the options to drop any packet not permitted in the rule list. Then, you need to add a rule that permits traffic to your local network. if you show us a ipconfig /all, we can tell you what inputs to set

or just remove the gateway address in your network settings.

as for turning it on and off.. just a short couple of lines to add a gateway address and then remove it. or you could just one batch file to see if a gateway address exists, if not, it will add one. it so, it will remove it.
