is there a list, here, or elsewhere on the web (that i can trust) of windows updates to remove, to stop windows 10 from automatically updating. my daughters computer runs windows 7, and she wants no part of windows 10. her words, not mine. it has been unplugged for the last couple of weeks, but it mush have all of what is needed, because when we turned it on a few minutes ago, it tried to start the conversion. she closed it, unfortunately, i didnt see what she did. so i don't know if it is running in the background installing anyway, or if she actually stopped it. i turned off automatic updates, but i doubt that is enough since everything appears to already be there. this might be a good topic for a sticky.
