Just formatted and Reinstalled XP. Windows won't let me activate key.

Hey-

some of you might have seen my previous blue screen of death post. Well, in that post we at the end decided i needed a reinstallation of xp. so i formatted and reinstalled my os.

Now, everything seems good so far, but one problem is that windows doesn't want to let me activate my key, it says that this key has already been activated (which is true, but I needed to reinstall my pc therefore if I don't activate this key in 30 days I'm screwed)

What do I do?

Call up Microsoft, and activate by phone. Tell them your computer was having problems, and they should activate it, as long as it's a legal copy.
