I just checked again and it looks like the OSX 10.4 F@H is back available.

I just tried it out on my new Ãœber VM - how can I tell how "fast" it's going? It would render a whole protein in the viewer in about 25 seconds... is that quick?

I look on the VM Host and it looked like the total usage for our Xeon Quad Core was about 60% on average while I was doing that....

My VM had a Dacronis CPU rating of 13,000 too, compared to my desktop rating of 3,500...

Don't use the veiwer, it can cause crashing.

It was just XP Pro 32 bit.

It's a VM run on a ESX host - HP G5 with 16 GB RAM and the Quad Core.

The XP VM has 1 virtual CPU - ESX manages all the resources.

You can install fahmon on the vm, and monitor them on thAt.

But as I don't know ESX, i can't recommend a program.. Is it a *nix??

Unfortunately one of our 5 year old VM hosts just kicked the can in the worst possible way so we're working on recovering a backup of the mission critical VM and moving it over to the new VM host...

Once things are stable again I'll reload Fahmon and begin contributing.
