iTunes crash after install

hello my friends, as you can see itunes crashes after i installed it on my freshly installed windows xp sp3. i downgraded from windows 7 from which itunes works flawlessly. when i open itunes it says:

the instruction at "0x45010c58" referenced memory at "0x45010c58". the memory could not be "read".

ok to terminate
cancel to debug the program

i tried reinstalling itunes and also quicktime but have no luck. pls help.

Try disabling your anti-virus program. Are all of your drivers up to date? I would re-install Windows 7.
