I've built around 5 computers total so I'm experienced with installing components. I'm not sure though if I should upgrade my system or continue to wait it out. (If I was going to upgrade, I would do mobo/cpu/ram)
My specs:
1 Monitor: ASUS VS248 1920x1080
2nd Monitor: (generic old dell)
Windows 10 64bit
MOBO: ASUS P8P67 DELUXE rev3.0
i7-2600k @ 4.4ghz
G.skill RipJaw X series - 8GB DDR3 2133 - Timing 11-11-11-30
EVGA Gtx 980
Samsung 830 250GB SSD
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD
PSU: 850w antec
The problem I'm having is that I've checked comparisons between the i7-2600k and latest-gen cpu. What I've been able to determine from that, is that its still not that bad. 8GB is still enough for gaming, which is mainly what I use my comp for.
Is it time to upgrade yet or do I continue waiting?
