this is all crap
The ipod nanos casing and screen is made with the exact same stuff as all the other ipods. I have a 4G nano sitting right next to me.. i carry it in my jean pockets all the time, it doesn't scratch ANY MORE than any other ipod.. and thats the same with all the nanos

I am not trying to be a smart a** but, Obviously Fabric doesn't scratch the surface of plastic. They shouldn't have had their Keys in their pockets. How strong do they expect something that small/light to be ????
