how do i found out my IP address on my computer?

open a command prompt and type "ipconfig" for the simple version or type "ipconfig_all" if you want all of the info. gateway, dhcp server etc.

i typed in ipconfig and it shows up for .1 second and then disappears. whats wrong?

go to start, run type "cmd" or "command" this will open a dos command prompt. type the "ipconfig" command in the dos prompt.
