Hi,

I'm new here and i've a questions about internet explorer.
this is the story from the beginning:

I used norton for a couple of years until the serial key was expired, Weird enough I didnt recieved a message that it was expired and I used my computer for 2 days without anti-virus and firewall ( I didnt know it was expired), so I quickly installed zonealarm anti-virus + firewall but I think it was to late.
The next day I wanted to check my mail but suddenly internet explorer didn't want to start so I reinstalled without succes then I also did a deep registry scan without result. Now I can only start internet explorer with run as administrator, when I started it I got plenty of script error from the source: "http://scripts.adrcdn.com/scripts/screenad_core_9.4.0_scrambled.js" also I dont have any addon anymore, I got errors of google toolbar so I also uninstalled it. So after many conclusion I think my internet explorer and my computer is infected of malware.

I did a scan of HijackThis:

Code:
ogfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.4

Hopfolly there is a fix for this

Regards,
Chris

Well you have 2 AV programs already installed as well. That is a conflict. AdAware AV as well as the ZA you just installed. Remove one of them to get better results and remove ALL Toolbars.

I didn't even think of that, you're right that a major no-no.

We don't even know if you even tried uninstalling Norton normally either, before you loaded ZoneAlarm.

Hi, Thanks for the reply's, AdAware AV is already uninstalled and I did Norton removal tool already before I was going to install ZA.
And what I already said "I got errors of google toolbar so I also uninstalled it."

EDIT: In the HiJackThis logs is also:
O15 - Trusted Zone: *.clonewarsadventures.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: *.freerealms.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: *.soe.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: *.sony.com
I never played clonewarsadventures or freerealms and I dont even know what soe.com is.

Regards,
Chris
