I got myself a new ASRock FM2A75M-DGS motherboard and everything went smoothly till i tried to plug in the internet cable.
There seems to be nothing wrong with my modem or the cable since it works just fine on my laptop.
I am currently using the Realtek PCIe Family Controller driver
I tried troubleshooting but nothing seems to work as far as i have tried.

Here is the ipconfig /all info if it helps

tx to anyone who can help

You are not getting an IP address from the DHCP server
the addresses 169.254.x.x are default addresses that are assigned when you fail to obtain one.
As you can see you are not getting a Default Gateway address either, this should be your router.

Try and set a static IP address
The easiest way is to do an ipconfig on your laptop when it is connected
Then on this computer set the IPv4 address to be one more
eg. if the laptop get 192.168.0.2, then just set this one to be 192.168.0.3
Make the Default Gateway and DNS to be the same address as the Default Gateway on your laptop.
