Let's try an old favorite (how apropriate )
Enter you system folder and file wininet.dll
Rename wininet.dll to wininet.dl
Hit F5
A new fresh wininet.dll should appear.
Let me know how this goes
It did go well, a fresh wininet did appear by doing so
.................but still, the crashes have continued after, its still ModName wininet.dll who is listed
so i guess im gonna try install IE 7, and if thath doesnt work perhaps a repair-reinstall of Win XP is motivated..and if thath still doesnt work either perhaps suicide is motivated :tired:
