Intel 82801db Audio Problems

OK before you blast me with "Use the Search" Replies, save me the time and the sites Space by just telling me =).....


Anyway, i HAVE used the Search and i still can't find anything )maybe using the wrong Terms) but i need a Driver (Free would be nice) for the Intel 82801DB MotherBoard. I need it for the onboard audio, i reformated a few days ago and STILL can't find anything. So any help would be nice, thanks in advance.

Also if you find something in the forums here with search please link me to the post =).

Thanks a bunch, one more newb question....how do i use the 2 files? i got a Sys file and an Ini file. Where do i put them?


EDIT: i went to http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1075231808 and found some help. but here's the thing...while i'm installing the driver, the computer reboots suddenly at the end. Any Ideas?

Yeah this is a bump.....can someone PLEASE help me? my computer just keep rebooting at the end of installing the 2 files from the download link i got from Jcam.

install everst so that it can tell you the name of the sound driver chipset, then google that driver

Yeah, i've done that, and the best thing that turned up was the site jcam gave me. i figured out how to USE the Sys file at that link but like i said, it just reboots at the end.
