Im stuck between buying a pc and a mac, help

There os is more stable then windows but linux is about just as stable on both platforms.

Have you already forgotten Steve's "switch to Intel speech"? So starting next year Mac are going to run like dogs. Why does Steve want to pop a Pentium M inside the Powerbooks so bad... well basically the G5 would melt your laptop into a useless pile of goo, and the Pentium M runs circles around the G4.

The pentium M is about just as effcient per clock cycle as a g5 chip.(But better for power useage )
I was comparing to a intel pentium 4 (with slow ass net burst arcitecture)

Yes, that you just stabbed yourself in the back. Maybe you don't see how, but someday you will. Jobs has never influenced my buying Apple products. Only my parents and Woz can do that

lol, yeah, if i had money coming out of my ears i could just buy all new software.

Another alternative is to wait until the Intel Macs come out and Dual Boot Windows and Mac os X so you can use your old programs.
