Im confused on how to host an mp3?

Is there any way to host an mp3 for websites like xanga or myspace for my own personal use? Were I can upload a song off my harddrive onto a hosting site then link that onto my page and have it play the song? If so, can someone please tell me how to do this.

If now freewebs.com is pretty good for uploading a couple of files.. then you could link it to the site where you have the song. Problem is then it won't play in the background, you're gonna have to click the link and a different page will open..

I've been able to uplaod .mp3's to my gmail account

over 2.7GB... plenty of room

You have to convert it to a streaming format and load it on a server. Gmail won't do this; its email, not a host.

You can do it with flash.

I just attach the .mp3 files, and save that email as a draft...

then I can download the attachments later...
