1 gig is not enough for BF2 cause i have to wait for the map to load even though im in the game. I can never actually just start playing. i have to wait for it to "warm up" lol. everything is like super laggy and stuttering if i dont.

i can play battelfield 2 smoothly with only 768mb of ram in my crappy del that also has a P4 1.8ghz no HT, and an FX5500 PCI. but yes it does take forever to laod, and get kinda choppy when im play with more than 24 people and get in a firefight.
