Yep I used to live in Terrace, BC, and there's no internet up there, only dial-up. But back in 1995, internet was a rarity anyways.

lol, I hear ya mate. I'm on a 1.5 mb connection too. Actual connection is 1.2, downloads at 140kbs not too great for online gaming... sigh.

but DUDE. $69.95? I pay 60 bucks, and that includes all local and std calls free, and all mobile calls free too.

I'm on Tiscali's 8MB Unlimited package. Get everything chucked in for around £40 a month (it's pretty variable, once it was £32 ). As for getting the full speed however it's just not happening. I'd go down to their 2MB package but the download limits are far to strict for my usage.

you think you all have it bad? in my region of the UK we're supposed to have 1mb, but im getting 512K speeds!!!!
