Hi, Happy New Year to everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas with lots of what you asked for.

I have a mandala sent to me in an e-mail. I would like to use it as a desktop background, but it will only open with Adobe Reader X.
I know how to get a photo as a desktop background, but when I tried to do it the normal way, it will only let me open with Adobe Reader X, which just opens it up again as a PDF file.
Help!

If it is a .pdf file then it is not intended to be an image. Nevertheless, you could try right clicking the image in Adobe Reader and copying and pasting it into a program such as Paint.NET and then save that image as a .jpg or .png to use as a background. Make sure to paste into a new image so you don't get white space.
