I accidentally installed win 7 as my main OS

No don't worry mak I am quite happy just burnt the wrong iso to a disc so now using win 7 when I was expecting to use the same version of windows as trotter is using atm. An error that I have found so far is that it doesn't full screen games and alt tab it puts you in limbo where you see unable to effect the game or the explorer.

It does Full Screen games. It full screens CS:S for me. Do you mean across Dual Monitors?

Havent tried Alt+Tab out of a game yet.

I mean trying to use alt+tab to minimise a game whilst playing. I only have a single monitor.

Depends on the game being played it would seem the entire Total war series doesn't like it but CSS and mount and blade does and will happily minimalise.

Well have to remember that there was changes made to the core of the OS. So some games will need updates to operate correctly.
