How to create 'Icons'

im just creating a website and i still need some icons (like

which software is suited best for that guys?
and do you know some tutorials how to create such icons by chance?
would really appreiciate it

Jil, the last time i checked there were very few free ones avialable. Here's one you can check into.

I have heard many good reviews of this one as well.

Just punch in "icon editor" into Google and you will get a ploethera of listings.

MicroAngelo is a really good one. Xara also has some good software, but is not as specific for icons.
