how to connect to a computer if I know its IP address?

Hi everyone,

I was trying to do some hit and trials and learn how to connect to a computer and access and run its programs if I know the computer's IP address. Both computers are in different houses using different ISP's internet service and both are connected all the time to a high speed cable internet.
Has anybody used NetBus for that? What about telnet? Please help.

The easiest way to run programs on a remote PC is to install en program like DameWare on both PC's
U need to install the DameWare server on the remote PC and the DameWare Client on your PC.

Because DameWare is not the easiest program u could use SpyAnywhere

Make sure both pc are Share able from the properties of the connection...


Just type -> \\The.IP.You.Know\c$
it will looks like \\201.1.53.2\c$
hit enter

It will ask you for user and passwd (admin access) when you enter them you will
see the hard disk of the remote PC.
Open Program files, locate the program you want to run and 2-click on it.

and bingo.....

Other way is with VNC server client
think this is the web www.realvnc.com
or something...
