How do I stop the folder noises?

Whenever I click on folders, the computer makes a "click" noise while opening it. This is becoming increasingly annoying, especially when recording by Stereo Mix.

How could I stop this (without putting the Master Volume down ofcourse ).

Hello,

Go to Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Click the Sounds tab...

...At the bottom in the 'Program events' list, find and click the Complete Navigation event. It should be at the bottom of the list in the Windows Explorer category. Expand the dropdown box underneath, and select (None), apply then ok.
