Welcome to Tech Forums, I'm Liz and I'll read your log...in the mean time, I need you to do three things, I need you to download and run AdAware SE, Spybot 1.3 and run an A/V scan. If you do not have an A/V, go to one of the online virus scans listed here:

http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk.html

And turn off system restore.

The links are in my signature:

Install AdAware SE and scan it and & update it B4 scanning.

In settings under 'scanning,' have it set to 'scan within archives,'

'scan active processes,'

'scan registry,'

'deepscan registry'

'scan my IE Favorites for banned URL's,'

'scan my host's file.'

In 'tweaks' under 'scanning engine' set it to 'unload recognized

processes

during scanning.' Also in 'tweaks' under 'cleaning engine' set it to

'Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion' & 'let

Windows

remove files in use at next reboot.'

Select 'activate in-depth scan' before starting scan.

When the scan is finished select 'next.'

Remove what it finds by placing a check in the box to the left of the

object.

Reboot

Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Link is also in my signature.

Scan it with your A/V program before installing it.

Install the program and launch it.

Before scanning press Online and Search for Updates .

Put a check mark at and install all updates.

Click Check for Problems and when the scan is finished let Spybot

fix/remove all it finds marked in RED.

Do those things for me while I work on your log. And post back what you find out. Liz

adamhic, I need you to move your HiJack folder. You have it in a temporary folder and that can create problems. The reason for this is that Hijackthis backup files may be deleted if it is being run from a temporary folder. And I need you to have a back up, ok? Sssooo....

Create a folder on your hard drive somewhere like in "My Documents" or in My Programs but NOT on the desktop or in a temporary folder. That creates problems if you do. and name it Hijackthis unzip' Hijack This to that folder.

If you do not know how to do this, ask please and I will explain it.

Then and ONLY then:

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

Restart in Safe Mode: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406

Delete this file:

C:\WINDOWS\wsdll32.exe

Reboot and post a new log. Liz
