I am trying to help my sister with her computer. It runs xp and ie7. Recently she uninstalled and reinstalled Avast. This is when the problem started. Now certain web pages are partly blank, most that open a new window won't open the window. Her email login page is blank, and they tried
getting on pogo not all of the games show up. I couldn't open help and support from the start
menu, and tried to do a system restore, I got the new window to open for that by holding ctrl
but it was blank. Tried uninstall and re for avast- didn't help. Changed activex that didn't help,
but when you try a virus scan it says activex won't allow the window to open.
