Help installing 2nd hdd and OS

You can load a Drive if there is no OS on it. You will get a boot error. What do you mean DVD loads fine then goes idle? Does it start the install process?

Yes Mak it loads files at the beginning then window screen with fish then go's Idle

Do you get the Screen where it shows the Install button? How long did you wait? Some systems it can take up to 10 minutes to get things loaded adn running.

Update sorry for the delay in replying finally got to the install screen after about 30min its doing it's thing now got to the menu screen to pick drive it still running won't be long now but its doing it alot slower then last time will keep you posted

Well it finally installed now I have a system with XP and 2 windows 7s
tomorrow I'll make sure every things working and delete my windows 7 partition and fix the XP boot loader

Well glad you got it working finally. It is now known why the installer takes longer on some systems to get working. But if you wait good things will come to you.
