I wouldn't get that motherboard, SATA II will work in a SATA I slot. There's really not that big a preformance gain. I have SATA II drive on my MSI K8N Neo4-F and it works great, plus I love this board to death. I'd wait a few more weeks to build until AMD drops their prices and you can get a dual-core X2-3800 for $196!
