There is a cameraphone with 10-megapixel camera, and now a 40-megapixel camera...all you need is 5 megapixels MAX, and that'll blow up to a huge poster..

Talldude, it says ONE element weighs 55 pounds in which there are many. (15 to be exact)

Digital Medium format has always had higher resolutions since the sensor is so much bigger. If you were to take a 10MP P&S sensor and make it the size of medium format, you would have 100's of MPs but the quality would be horrible - just like the P&S.
