I ran across this forum and have to say it seems friendly! My name is Rick and I am studying for a BS in Cyber Security and Forensics. I just completed my Comp TIA A+ exams, passing both the 901 and 902 on the first attempt
I joined this site to learn from some of the experts out there as finding answers to questions are not always easy. Far to many forums are replete with derogatory comments on a persons question and it quickly goes down-hill from there into a personal attack n the individual. I was happy to see this site controls and disciplines for those behaviors. So, thank you for that!
I am what some would term a life-long learner as I have retired a couple of times and have previously completed a BS in Professional Aeronautics and a Masters in Quality Systems Management. You just can't have enough knowledge (not to mention it keeps the mind active and young).
The first thing I would ask from the forum is some advice on building a new system, with some fairly complicated specs. Is there someone in particular I should be seeking advice from?
I look forward to learning and hearing from all of you!
Rick
