GTX 280 GPU-Z and pictures

Well the GTX280 isn't as much of a power sucker as I had anticipated, but its still one

But for these to be effective, it has to be 30% better than the HD 4870X2 in performance, otherwise there's no point since the HD 4870X2 will be cheaper, will the GTX260 look the same also?

Well they are using the same core.. so I doubt that the 280 would be too much more than its little brother the 260. At least thats what I predict

im thinking itl be like the g80 chips one long pcb, one short pcb.

IF i recall, the 260 is just a salvage part, and the only difference between the 280/260 is the number of enabled shaders and memory. They look identical other than the 280 having 8 + 6 for power and the 260 having 6+6.

what im wonderign thos is if one will be longer then the other liek the 8800gtx and the 8800gts.
