Good Video Card update?

Yeah, like we are going to take the advice of some line worker who assembles PCs. it's a long known fact that OEMs get away with the cheapest components they can, psu's are no exception. If you want proof i can start digging though the box of crap psu's form oem machines I have, and next time in the office I can write down the specs of the psu's in our dell optiplex's. The specs are sad.

If you want to talk about OEMs cutting corners, I've seen on HP products labels that dictate what part to replace it with if it goes bad, it is almost always an inferior part. For example, in an old pavilion i worked on for a client the 30gb hard drive was labeled to be replaced with a 20gb unit if under warranty. Even the "boutique" guys cut corners where they can.
 
^^ Any GTX 460 would be risky on your psu.

At this point in time ATI cards offer the best performance/power consumption so a card like the HD 5770 Muffin man suggested would be your best option.
