Gmail Ads

For those of you who use Gmail, you know when you open an e-mail, there are textads on the far rightside. Is there anyway to hide/disable them with a plugin/program?

I know Gmail itself doesn't give you that option, but I'm sure there's a way to work around it...

you can block ALL google ads by using the extension for Firefox called Adblock.

Yea, you can use Adblock, but it's not going to remove ads on a Gmail site. It's never been able to do that and never will. Adblock is only going to work on Adsense extentions to 3rd party sites....like Tech-Forums.net for example.
