Wellll.......those parts wouldn't exactly give away any identifying characteristics, so why hide them? That makes it look suspicious.

I got no idea why they'd cover up the PCI slot. You can see it's just a normal looking PCIe by the shadow. weird...

I figure they are covering up the numbers that are printed just above the slot. The same thing goes for covering the plugs... they have designations on them, too.
