yea the x530 is a good system i own both the x530 and the z-5500. i dont really notice a major difference in speaker quality. i think what your really paying for in the z-5500 is the sub. the sub blows away the x-530s without a doubt. if dont need a high end system then go with the x530. you cant go wrong with them and the speakers look really cool too they look sweet if you wall mount them. my only con for the x530 is extremly short speaker wire. they give you like no wire for the rear speakers. its understandable if the 3 front speakers have pretty short wires. imo for 140 for the z-5500 thats a really good deal. but if your going to use headphones more then you should probably spend it on headphones.
