I have 2 spare 80mm fans and a spare 70mm fan (which came off my stock heatsink.) Which one would be better in the front drive bays (the 2 3.5mm ones.) (also considering which one would look better)
The 70mm is a better fit, but I would have to use the fan only molex that comes from my psu, and sadly the fan will be limited to the temperature sensing fan controller, which means that the fan won't be spinning very fast.
With the 80mm fan, it has a Y splitter so it can share power with the cd drive.
The 70mm fan moves more air, but is 7db loader than the 80mm fan, but only pushes 3cfm more.
So which fan should I use then?
Also any tips for fitting it?
