Heya. I purchased a router and laptop adapter for my dad's house and the router/modem runs fine but when i attempt to use the adapter in the laptop, windows gives error 12 which states that the adaptor cannot find enough resources to use it. I cannot manually change the IRQs etc because there is no option to for whatever reason. Now, heres the killer. It has worked for a very short time on two occasions. Both times, i connected remotely using the adapter but dunno why it worked cos it died after a couple of minutes.
As far as freeing resources is concerned, i have turned off ALL uncecessary things on the laptop but to no avail. Help appreciated muchly!
