Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum and I am excited to join and learn about things and speak with you all. My question is this: I have a DirecTV HD DVR, and I would like to transfer the shows that I have recorded from the DVR to an external hard drive or my computer via USB. The DVR has a USB port on the front. I plugged the USB into it but nothing happens. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Any help is greatly appreciated!
