do refurbished ipod touch's have new batteries?

Hi, I am looking to by a refurbished ipod touch 16 gb off of ebay and the savings are great, now the only question is that over time ipod batteries get worn out and lose there charges, and i was wondering, what are the conditions of a refurbished ipod touch and do they come with new or just like brand new batteries? and what ever else u would like to include about refurbished ipod touch's please do. thank you

You will have to ask the seller. As there are several reasons why the Touch could have been refurb'd. Battery, screen among many others.

So they may not have even otuched the battery and it could still be the factory default one. Plus you should see if they are a authorized reseller and refurbisher of Apple products.
