If I'm paying for a game, I want to actually receive some form of product, which is why I buy retail. If I buy a game digitally I feel like I was ripped off, since I don't believe in intellectual rights.
...but yea, I just like the boxes
I admit I also like having physical copies of my games. However, there have been times when I could not get a retail copy of a game anywhere around me on release day (take Fallout 3 for instance) and Steam was my only option since I am quite impatient when it comes to a game I want particularly bad. In addition, you cannot beat some of the deals you get on Steam when a game is on sale.
