Heya,
I recently downloaded the 1.11 patch for Diablo 2 lod,
went to play on my LAN with my friend, and it works, but with HUGE annoying LAG...
What frustrates me the most is that about three years ago, i played Diablo 2 lod over a LAN at a mates place with next to zero LAG...
My comp specs are :
------------------------------------------------------------
AMD sempron 64 : 2800+ ;
1gig DDR RAM ;
Nvidia GF 6600GT 128MB Video ;
80GB HDD ;
other comp :
AMD Socket A 2200 + ;
768 MB DDR RAM ;
Sapphire Radeon 9250 Series 256MB Video ;
40GB HDD .
Internet connection :
1.5Mb Down & 256Kb Up .. Through -
D-Link DSL 504T Router ( 4 port Ethernet ) 10/100
D-Link 10/100 Ethernet Network Card
----------------------------------------------------------------
I've installed D2 lod on both comps, with "D2XMUSIC.MPQ"
"D2XVIDEO.MPQ" etc etc all copied off the LOD expansion disc,
and placed into the Diablo II Folder to see if that would make much of a difference...
Anyone with ANY idea of how to overcome this "headache inducing" LAG, please help me out
thanks in advance
