Can't get world at war to work..

hey guys...
i get into the menu...and when it asks wat difficulty..i select it..and it just go back to me selecting mission...
it doesnt go any further...

any ideas wahts goin on? i even have the latest patch updated!

Uninstall with Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs, Solve uninstall problems

Then reinstall and repatch.

Post results.

why do i have to reinstall?
i didnt install it in the defaul folder?
i guess i'll go ahead an do it...it didn't work before the patch either...

Normally when a game doesn't seem to function properly its standard troubleshooting to completely uninstall the game and reinstall it. It will eliminate the percentage of possibility that the install was bad. It does happen.

Sounds like the kind of thing that would happen with a Pirated version. If it is, we cannot help you.
If it is not, do what Havoc says and then also try running as admin if your a Vista user.

Running as a Admin fixes lots of problems from the obvious to the obscure.

i guessi had to download some unlocker patch ...and now i have all the levels unlocked and i guess that made it work somehow...

Sounds like you had a corrupt save game then. Meh. Have fun
