Hi,

Whenever I try and access a specific website from my home PC I get the generic "Page cannot be displayed" page as if the site wasn't there even though I know it is and can access it from other computers. I have tried using different browsers with no joy. The site does seem to work occasionally although 95% of the time it doesn't.

Does anyone have any idea why my PC might not be able to open it?

Thanks in advance,
Jake

Are these "other computers" going out the same gateway?

open cmd and try to clear you DNS cache with "ipconfig /flushdns". No quotes.
Try to do a trace route and the command prompt using "tracert *www.sitename.com*" -> does it complete or time out?

If nothing, I'd suggest changing your DNS servers on your router/gateway. See if that corrects the problem.

Yeah they're on the same subnet.
There is a general failure when I try either the "ping" or the "tracert" commands.
Flushing DNS didn't work either.
The site was working yesterday and now it's not again. Have absolutely no idea what could be causing this.
