Hi, the situation is the ADSL Router from BT is downstairs, my mum connects her Laptop to the Router using Ethernet, - cool and fine, I am upstairs and my Xbox 360 is connected via wireless and the pc up here is connected with a Belkin Dongle USB, quite often the internet stops, i can connect to the router but the router cannot connect to BT, sometimes I have to manually reset the router to work.. should I contact BT or is their a fault from my setup?

Thanks

Lawrie

I would contact BT to see if there is a issue with the modem/router itself. If it cant connect to BT that would be a issue on their end if resetting the router doesnt solve the issues.

If resetting the router does then it could very well be a router issue at that point.

I have seen this before and it was not BT's fault (odd I know) the Belkin Wireless G adapter is a joke and refuses to play nice with other hardware pick up a Zyxell USB dongle they are cheaper and very stable if you ask me.
