burning recorded tv

need to know a good way to burn my recorded tv to dvd, especially large files over 4.7 gigs

You can't. You must break it up into 2GB parts.

Convert it using the WMV VCM.
It can be downloaded for free off of microsofts website.

Try Nero 6, you can use Nero Recode to convert and compress it to a DVD.

first, will files that are under 4.7 gigs if i just do the burn to dvd option in mce play in a regular dvd player

or how do i burn these to a playable dvd

and what about files larger, what should i use to convert them

i did some research and found out this:

you are supposed to be able to burn recorded tv straight through mce but not all of the OEMs include the neccesary programs, i bought from cyperpower, who, to my understanding, did not include the feature which is sonic encoder. if it came with it i would have the option to burn video dvds, now i can just do data.

i dont think i can buy it and install it, but if anyone knows were i can or can send me the files let me know.

for files over 4.7 i think i still need a decoder no matter what.

since i dont think i can get sonic encoder, even though that is the most ideal i think i will just buy nero

I told you like about 10 times to use nerovision express of nero although win dvd is a better option as nero has a cheap encoder
