Thanks Trotter. I'm gunna try the pringles thing, but i'm not very optimistic, so i'll probably end up buying one of the items you listed.

ben_ben... was it hard to create? Also, i noticed in the article zen_oswyn posted that they had their "antenna" connected to their laptop's NIC. Does this mean i would hook it up to my NIC in my desktop? If so, how would i do this?

Trotter - I think I might purchase the Encore Access point you listed. Do you have an i dea on what I have to do to install this (or any of them for this matter)?

I dunno, but here's the manufacturer's product page:

Sounds like you just put it within the range of your router and it rebroadcasts the signal, extending your network.
