Zelda would not be classified as an RPG. Adventure, probably. It definitely was a great game, though.

I dont know how ANYONE can start an RPG with any kind of decent story and not finish it. Thats like buying a book and reading the first page! SHAME ON YOU!!!!! SHAME!!!!

Hah, I do that all the time, I know its sad, but I hate reading. I have a mind that likes to wander. Ill start reading, and unless im really into the book, (which it usually takes 50 or so pages to get into a book) Ill start thinking about other stuff. The weird thing is my eyes are still reading, im just not paying attention. It like sitting through a boring lecture in class.

chrono trigger by far still the coolest rpg ever made
had multiple endings(12 or 13, the best when frog reverts to glenn)
characters were well developed throughout the game and well, heroic!
i could go on but just play the game if you like super nin rpgs

final fantasy 2 and 3 both have awesome story line/ characters
kain is one bad mofo!

missed illusions of gaia and final fantasy mystic quest, both decent and note worthy rpgs...
