Well I just bought a Toshiba Satellite L45-S7423 with Vista, and I can say I have not had any problems yet. I did install a couple programs from my XP desktop and again with no problems. Fortunately, I bought extended service plan at Best Buy, so I should be OK if any problems...I think.
Bad vista, bad!
