If yoyr cds are scratched, the faster your drive speed, the less likely it will skip or cant read that part of the cd. If you lower it, it will have a better chance of ready it, make sense?

Osiris Golden Master Messages 36,817 Location Kentucky Jan 14, 2006 #6 Nero offers a tool called Nero Drive speed. Also you can switch from DMA mode to PIO mode, that helps alot too
