audiobook mp3 keeps stopping

hey guys... well this is my first post. I am having a problem with a audiobook that I downloaded. This part of the series.... (it is a 12 part mp3 file each about 25 minutes or so) keeps stopping after 16 minutes and it will go into the next mp3. Now when I fast foward the mp3 file it seems to work fine... like everything after 16 minutes works... even the 16 minunte mark works... it all depends... it is a spontaneous stopage. Any idea what this is from, and how I can fix this so the file can play in its entirety from begining to end without any stoppage.

Try a different player, which one are you using currently?

thanks for the reply. I have used windows media player and as well as loading it into my ipod... same problem in both
