ATI HDTV WONDER PCI problem

I am having some problems with my ati hdtv wonder tuner. Whenever i tune regular non-HD tv it works fine, but when i try to tune HDTV then it gets sumwhat distorted and has a big black bar on one side. If anyone has any sugestions on how to fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

What device do you have that is outputting the HDTV and what kind of cable do you have connected from this device to the tuner?

i am using the digital antenna that came with the tuner.

What is broadcasting the signal? I find it unlikely that HDTV is actually being broadcasted over the air for all to tune into it.
